Questions.

Sign in to your Google Business Profile, open your reviews, pick one, and choose Reply. Thank the person by name, mention the job so it sounds real, and keep it short. Reply to good reviews and bad ones. Your reply is public, so write it for the next customer reading it too.

Thank them by name, mention something specific about the job, and invite them back. Two or three sentences is plenty. Skip the copy-paste line you use on every review, because readers can tell. The texts above have Google review response examples for a five-star, a mixed and a one-star review, ready to make your own.

Most often, you aren't signed in as an owner or manager of the Business Profile, or the profile isn't verified yet. Check which Google account you're using, and ask the current owner to add you if you need access. If you run more than one location, make sure you opened the right one.

It can be, as long as a person reads it first. AI can draft a reply to each new review in your voice, so you can respond to Google reviews the same week without starting from a blank box. You or someone on your team reads it, fixes anything, and posts it. Nothing gets posted on its own.

It's a good habit if you can keep up with it. When you reply to Google reviews, future customers see that a real person runs the place and cares how the job went. A short, specific thank-you for good ones and a calm, fair answer to bad ones both count. Having drafts ready makes it realistic in a busy week.
